Bahrain distributes housing units in Phase 1 of Al-Ramli District project

Bahrain’s Housing Minister, Bassim bin Yaqoob Al Hamar, has revealed that the ministry has begun distributing residential units as part of Phase 1 of the Al-Ramli District housing project.

The initiative is in line with the directives of the kingdom’s Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to distribute 5,000 housing units.

The distribution of the Al-Ramli project’s units follows the opening of the towns of Salman, Khalifa, and East Hidd with beneficiaries beginning to moving into their residential units.

The steps taken by the ministry are also in line with HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s order to build 40,000 housing units nationwide, which the ministry has pledged to uphold in its recent action plan.

The Bahrain Ministry of Housing’s initiatives, which are being implemented in partnership with the private sector, contribute to providing 25,000 units in the near future.

The distribution of the units in Phase 1 of the Al-Ramli District comes after the opening of the project by Deputy Premier and chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.

The necessary infrastructure works in the district have already been completed, according to the state-run Bahrain News Agency.

The Housing Services Directorate has already requested beneficiaries of the Al-Ramli District project to report to the Ministry of Housing to finalise the necessary procedures.
