Design of Expo 2020 Dubai’s Kazakhstan Pavilion revealed

The design of Expo 2020 Dubai’s three-storey Kazakhstan Pavilion has been revealed, with the pavilion set to showcase the country’s dynamic development, cultural diversity, history, and geography across four exhibition areas.

A rendering of Kazakhstan Pavilion shared by Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) shows a main building covered by a white façade, emblazoned with the country’s name as “Qazaqstan” in English and Arabic.

Located within the World Expo’s Opportunity District, the pavilion will comprise interactive and tactile surface installations that will allow visitors to explore Kazakhstan’s rich natural landscapes, resources, culture, biodiversity, and flora and fauna.

The pavilion will also showcase various projects in areas including transit and transport potential, digitalisation, industrialisation, human capital development, and the environment.

Additionally, the pavilion will also feature a science and chemistry laboratory. A unique DNA show and panoramic cinema demonstrating interaction between human and artificial intelligence will also be showcased everyday.

According to information published on Dubai-based NLME Consultants website, the company is providing landscape consultancy, local adaptation, and site supervision services for the Kazakhstan Pavilion.
