Ellington Properties’ DT1 nears completion, linked to DEWA grid

Dubai-based design-led property developer Ellington Properties has marked another milestone for its DT1 residential tower in Downtown Dubai, with the development that is nearing completion has been linked to the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) grid.

The latest progress milestone marks the availability of power and water supply at the development, which is a first for the developer in Downtown Dubai.

Speaking about the project, managing director of Ellington Properties, Robert Booth, said: “The progress in construction of DT1, our first development in Downtown Dubai, highlights our focus on developing projects to the highest standards of quality and to offer superb value for investors.

DT1 has a contemporary design and features design elements that have been adopted to make the maximum use of existing space. The tower has a glass cladding, with apartments comprising unique installations including laminated and lacquer details, integrated Miele appliances, under-mount sinks, and creative joinery elements in kitchens.

The residential development spans 20,000m2 area and has a height of 76-metres. DT1 has units ranging from studios to one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, and four-bedroom penthouses.

Other amenities include fitness centre, leisure and lap pools, as well as a games room.DT1 is located at a walking distance from the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and The Dubai Mall.
