Falconcity of Wonders awards SAAM Vega project to Evolve Contracting

Falconcity of Wonders, the developer of the multipurpose Falconcity of Wonders megaproject being built in Dubai, has awarded the SAAM Vega project to Evolve Contracting.

The small pyramid SAAM Vega hotel apartments project – which is part of the ‘Pyramids Park’ within the Falconcity of Wonders megaproject – will house 442 units, ranging from studios, one bedroom, and two bedrooms units.

Featuring nine floors, the small pyramid SAAM Vega project will also tout modern architectural design with luxury furnishings.

Apart from its specially created inclined scaffolding to the earthquake resistance building designs, SAAM Vega will also be a LEED-certified building based on a sustainable model that is both resource and energy efficient.

Commenting on the contract award, the chairman and general manager of Falconcity, HE Salem Almoosa, said: “The success of a project like SAAM Vega Pyramid requires the most advanced construction techniques. This will entail the integration of structural, engineering, and architectural elements into a virtual prototype, which will provide us an accurate visualisation of the project before the actual construction process begins.”

Almoosa added: “Furthermore, the use of new modular construction in the development of the project will not only minimise time but will also offer strong sustainability benefits. Evolve Contracting has proven expertise in the field, and we are confident that they are the right partners for the development of this iconic project.”

SAAM Vega is located within the Falconcity of Wonders masterproject community that comprises of business centres, apartments, and offices.

The project also offers attractive amenities such as five-stars dining avenues, a premium health club, luxury amenities, spa and sauna, yoga and meditation areas, nursery, and a hospital within the Falconcity residential community.
