The Governor of the Saudi Arabia’s Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah Region, HRH Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has reiterated the importance of MODON’s Oasis project in Yanbu in empowering and supporting the developmental role of women.
Prince Faisal completed an inspection visit to MODON’s Oasis project, which includes an infrastructure project as well as the construction of 20 factories with an area of 450m2 per factory, which are being implemented under the purview of the director-general of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Estates and Technology Zones, Eng Khaled bin Muhammad Al-Salem.
A number of service and development projects for the Oasis project are currently being implemented, the most prominent of which is the implementation of the 8km drinking water conveyor line.
The Governor of the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region was briefed on the details and stages of the project, which includes the development of a model industrial city supported by important facilities that are compatible with the nature and conditions of women.
The project aims to invest in the capabilities of women; integrate women into the industry sectors; support women entrepreneurs; and create job opportunities for the sons and daughters of the Yanbu Governorate while stimulating small and medium enterprises.
Eng Khaled Al Salem extended his appreciation to the Governor of the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region for the continuous interest and support that “MODON” enjoys, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency.
