UAE coliving developer breaks ground on JVC project

Hive Coliv, which is touted as UAE’s first specialist coliving developer and operator, has broken ground on its coliving development in Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC).

The developer, which focuses on the development and management of coliving communities aims to redefine Dubai’s residential landscape through its projects.

The JVC development was built in conjunction with Hive Coliv’s partner, investment management firm, A.R.M. Holding and its design team including architecture consultants, Al Wasl Al Jadeed Consultants, MEP design, green building, retrofit, and sustainable energy solutions specialists, Consistent Engineering Consultants and lighting design consultants SMITH TAIT.

The devlopment, Hive JVC, is a six-floor facility that features 117 units and spans over an area of 15,500m2.

The community offers a plug-and-play housing solution for young professionals. It is the first of Hive’s coliving projects to be announced and is on-track for a 2021 delivery.
