Dr. Ahmed Awad has over thirty years of experience in construction project management, claim management and dispute resolution, delay, and quantum analysis, and economic evaluation and analysis.

He has testified as expert witness and is regularly appointed as expert in arbitration matters under various rules such as AIAC, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, and QICCA.

Dr. Awad has also consulted and served as expert on adjudication and litigation matters up to the London High Court and expert determination proceedings in multi-billion-dollar contracts worldwide. His contract experience includes NEC, FIDIC, ICC, ICE, JCT, PFI, and various bespoke contract forms.

He has regularly acted as an advisor and led advisory teams from hundreds of millions to multi-billion US dollar construction projects, concessions, PPP, and industrial sector assessment. He has also regularly led the project management, commercial, and planning teams involved in mega projects in the UK, Europe, Canada, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Far East.

Dr. Awad has been appointed as a delay and quantum expert in major construction projects in Canada, where he has had a high rate of successful settlements for clients.

His industrial experience includes renewable energy (wind and solar farms), nuclear, governmental program and major investments, infrastructure and heavy civil engineering, rail, aviation and airports, defense, health care, thermal power generation, education, mixed-used buildings, hospitality, sports facilities, oil and gas, petrochemicals, and fine chemicals.
